Why do you want to be a Laney counselor? What keeps you coming back to Laney?
I have formed very strong friendships with the guys I got to work with last year, and I saw that a lot of them were coming back this year, so I was very excited about getting to see them again.  I also love the fact that I get to make a difference in the lives of the campers and help them make the most of their time at Laney.  The feeling of knowing that I was able to get a camper to go down the zip line or Kamikaze for the first time is a feeling that never gets old to me, and one that I miss when I’m not up at Laney during school.  Having been a camper at Laney for so long, I understand how much the campers look up to the counselors, so having the opportunity to be able to give campers the same wonderful experience I had as a camper is what keeps me coming back.
