Years as Camper: 4
Years as Counselor: 5

Why do you want to be a Laney counselor? What keeps you coming back to Laney?
I learn something new about myself every summer I come to Laney. In recent years, I’ve realized I need to improve my Bombardy strategy, my concentration at the archery range, and my indulgence for Famous Amos cookie desserts after dinners. But most importantly, I’ve learned that working with kids brings me so much happiness. I love the feeling of helping a camper overcome fears and homesickness, making a new friend, or successfully trying something unfamiliar. It is my goal to share with every camper why Laney is so special to me and I am thrilled to call Laney home for one more summer.
