Why do you want to be a Laney counselor? What keeps you coming back to Laney?
Camp Laney has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even before I was a camper here, I was having the times of my life at Father & Son weekends and whenever my family would drop off or pick up my older brother. As an 8 year camper, I got to see a lot of different counselors over the years, and I can still remember the names of some of my favorites. Camp Laney is one of the greatest places in the world, but it wouldn’t be the same without people like them coming to work every summer. That’s why I want to be a counselor here. Those guys had a positive impact on my life and are part of the reason I love Camp Laney, and I want to have that same impact on the campers this summer. Hopefully, like the counselors I had as a camper, I can be a positive role model and give the campers the best summer possible.
