A Blessing for the Camps

This morning we had our annual Blessing of the Camps. The directors/staff from Alpine Camp, Camp Skyline, Riverview Camp, and Camp DeSoto joined us for breakfast and some quality time with one another before heading down to the Muschamp Outdoor Chapel for a wonderful service. It’s a very busy part of the year for all the camps but we still take time to come together to ask for God’s blessing for a safe and successful summer.

As always, we want to thank Marsha Hurt from Camp DeSoto for preparing and leading the service this morning!!

Whitney has been on staff full-time since 1994. He started coming to camp in 1977 and has never missed a summer. He and his wife Rita live in Mentone, Alabama year round.
