Father/Son Weekend

REGISTER NOWThis weekend furthers the relationship between fathers and sons by engaging both in fun and challenging activities. It’s a weekend for “just the guys” to spend a couple of nights on top of Lookout Mountain. The memories made TOGETHER will last a lifetime.
If you are considering sending your son to camp, the Father/Son Weekend is a great introduction to all that Camp Laney has to offer. When the time comes to spend a session at camp without his father he will already be familiar with the cabins, the food, and all of the fun activities.
The weekend is action-packed with activities including: ropes course, climbing wall, horseback riding, archery, riflery, tennis, ping-pong, canoeing, swimming, and more. Camp Laney Staff will facilitate all activities and invite dads to help supervise their child at the river and pool. There is no schedule and a rotating selection of activities is offered — fathers and sons choose what activities they would like to do and enjoy the weekend at their own pace.
Families are welcome to invite a grandfather, making the weekend a multi-generational experience. Grandfathers, Uncles, or mentors are encouraged to bring boys who do not have a father.

What is the cost?
$475 for a Father and Son ($225 for each additional participant).
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 14 days prior to your weekend will be given a full refund. Cancellations made inside of 14 days before your weekend are non-refundable.
What age does my son need to be?
Boys who are 5 years old are at the perfect age to start coming to Father-Son Weekend.
Does the F/S Weekend usually fill-up?
Yes, There is limited enrollment for the weekend. If you register and we are FULL, you will be placed on the waitlist and notified.
Packing List
- Sleeping bag or sheets and blankets (twin size bed)

- Optional: tennis racquet, baseball gloves, jeans for horseback riding, fishing gear
Make sure you check the weather in Mentone for the weekend so you can pack appropriate clothing and bedding for the temperature or conditions.
