Another great day atop Lookout Mountain! Once again, the weather was very nice. In the photos section we have posted all of the 1st session cabin pictures we took yesterday. At sports the game of the day was softball. After a long off-season it is nice to see the athletic field so active with campers running everywhere. At horseback some of the campers are already out on the trails. Campers can earn a Beginner, Cowboy, Wrangler, or Horseman patch at horseback and must learn facts about horses and demonstrate skill in riding to earn the patches. We sent our first group of campers to the DeSoto Falls area for some rappelling. Walking backwards down a 70-foot cliff is something that those boys will remember forever! Tonight cabins 1-8 play Capture the Flag out on the field and cabins 9-16 will play a couple of rounds of Bombardy and Pitball for points.
Menu: Breakfast- Bacon Eggs Biscuits Fruit Cereal
Lunch- Hamburger Steak Mashed Potatoes Carrots Salad Chocolate Cake
Supper- Crispitos Rice Vegetable medley Fudge Rounds
PARENTS PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE HAVE A NO PACKAGE POLICY. IF YOU NEED TO SEND SOMETHING THAT YOUR CAMPER NEEDS PLEASE NOTIFY THE OFFICE—THANKS!!
